How WEDFEST was born...

Hey! I'm Justin and welcome to WEDFEST. I have been a wedding supplier for more than a decade. I ran an extremely successful wedding band, we played 100's of weddings through out Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and even New York! We got so busy I needed more acts to cover all the enquiries so I started an agency, Partybands.ie. We still book 100's of weddings each year and look after some of the best wedding bands & DJ's in Ireland.

A few years ago I attended a wedding expo that was so bad only 14 people turned

up! Everyone at the show had already booked or enquired with my business, there was no new customers or leads at all. I was so p*ssed off that I had spent my hard earned cash to attend this show when I was already doing a better job marketing my services on my own. It was a lot of money wasted! I decided that I should just do my own show and offer something fair and of proper value to the bands and other wedding suppliers in the area.  Wedfest was born!

Our festival style expo has grown massively and been an amazing success with 100's of wedding couples attending each show. Every event has nearly 100 wedding suppliers, bands, DJ's and an amazing fashion show. All of the marketing has been driven via online advertising and social media to direct all the wedding couples to buy tickets at wedfest.ie. This website has thousands of visitors each year. More than 20,000!

For years I could never find a wedding listing website that was affordable, offered an even playing field and gave help and support to grow my wedding business. So I decided to build one myself.

We aim to build an online directory where suppliers can showcase their services, get the best leads and wedding enquiries via a tailored search feature - not getting enquiries for work the other end of the country and not suited to their business. A place where suppliers can network, work with each other and connect with other wedding professionals via an online community. And somewhere to get help, advice and support via our business hub, so you can concentrate on doing what you do best!
